I begin with a simple prompt.

‘Act as a business development expert and generate the ICP for my business based on all what you know about me and my business.’

This leverages the AI’s knowledge about me to create a highly relevant Ideal Customer Profile.

From there, I delve deeper into customer demographics and psychographics. This process helps me understand my ideal customer intimately.

Next, I instruct the AI to ‘generate a detailed analysis for each ICP along with the pain points and aspirations.’ This provides valuable insights into customer motivations and challenges. I can then tailor my business offerings to address customer needs and aspirations.

Product Offerings as Ecosystem:

Start with a core ‘star’ product, such as an online course in the education space. Then, create lower-cost products like downloadable guides and templates (sold or offered as lead magnets). This creates a product funnel, guiding customers from free resources to higher-priced offerings.

✨A Hack:

Tell ChatGPT “Take a deep breath”, “I’ll give you a hundred dollars”, or the keyword “generate”. Most of the time it delivers better results.

I prioritize delivering ‘the three specifics’: a specific solution for a specific problem for a specific persona. This involves refining my ideal customer persona (including their pain points and aspirations). Also aligning my offerings (products/services, B2C/B2B) to perfectly address their needs.

Use #3 of AI for Business Growth: Refreshing Content Ideas

Ask AI the following: ‘What are the best topics that I can address here? Generate a list of content topics for each of my target personas.’

  • Pick specific content: the more specific, the more it shines and answers the pain point.

  • Focus on niche topics: Address their specific aspirations and most challenging problems.

  • Prioritize storytelling: Authentic, real-world stories resonate far more than AI-generated content.

✅Use AI tools like ChatGPT to brainstorm content ideas, not to generate it for you.

✅After having AI generate topics, craft stories around each topic. Drawing from your own experiences, or client stories. Humans relate to humans in the context of storytelling.

✅Human stories resonate more deeply than AI-generated content. Which often lacks the human touch – emotions, expertise, and personal experiences.

✅Highlight a relatable problem, its consequences, and ultimately, your solution.

✅This approach not only provides valuable content. But also positions you as a problem-solver.

Try Hemingway Editor (Hemingwayapp.com). Paste your text, and it highlights complex sentences (in yellow or red). It shows you what needs rewriting for easier reading. Combine it with Grammarly for best practices. These are some of the best tools offered by AI for business growth.

Use #4 of AI for Business Growth: Repurposing Content

Use AI to➡️extract key points from a single article.

➡️Create multiple social media posts.

➡️Visualize information by transforming sequences or timelines into infographics or carousels.

You can create the content once and then repurpose it multiple times. This is where AI can also shine. The magical tools in Canva can be of great help here.

AI & ME

✅I don’t solely rely on AI for business growth. While I utilize it for ideas, directions, and analysis, I ultimately do the work myself. AI is my tool, my helper.

✅I don’t get caught up in chasing every new AI tool. I prioritize those that directly improve my productivity, save time, or generate leads.

✅To maximize AI’s effectiveness, I feed it with structured data about myself and my business. For example, I tell ChatGPT: ‘Based on what you know about me and my business, and our previous conversations…’. The more information I give it, the more accurate and valuable the output.
